Problem Statement picked Beyond the Browser
Why this problem?
We chose this problem statement because software security is still largely reactive. Most vulnerabilities are discovered only after code has been committed, during code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, or penetration testing, when fixing them is more time-consuming and expensive.
Our goal with RakshakAI is to shift security to the earliest stage of software development. Instead of asking developers to switch between multiple security tools or wait for post-commit scans, RakshakAI works directly inside their coding workflow. It detects vulnerabilities in real time, explains the security risk in plain language, maps issues to OWASP and CWE standards, and provides AI-powered remediation before insecure code is committed.
We selected this problem statement because it aligns with our vision of building an intelligent AI security assistant rather than another standalone application. By integrating seamlessly into the developer's workflow, RakshakAI helps developers write secure code from the start, reduces security debt, shortens remediation time, and enables organizations to build safer software at scale.

Elevator Pitch Every day, developers unknowingly introduce security vulnerabilities into their code, and most of these issues are discovered only after the code is committed or deployed, making them expensive and time-consuming to fix.
